the hero (it is that time again another asingment from my teacher on wordpress)

What makes a hero well in class I was told a hero had special birth.

A need.

A deed.

And a special death.

Sometimes it is under average birth that is special and the one who rises above the rest.

Me a history bug ya so that is probably why I chose Joan of arc for my assignment.

Joan grew up with here family and 40 acres of land she was very young when she went out fighting. Joan had these visions that told her to go to church and later told her to do bigger

The fighting was caused by the death of a king who could not rule any longer because of… he was mad as in slightly co coo co coo coo co oo he was not crazy just if you told him something he may tell you to do something unrelated, then the kings nobles took power and eventually they split into 2 factions lets call them faction 1 and faction 2. Joan is in faction 1  and she got in to the fight when she he visions told her to  she stopped the English from taking control of a portion of France, she had an ordinary birth and a special death; she was burned on the cross, and in the end she stopped the English from taking control of a portion of France. she gained control of a army fought and won thought she was only a girl and a peasant and most of all even till her death she never gave up not once, she refused to surrender even after losing all her support.

sometimes being a hero means resistance and persistence.

one wish

If people just cut it out, if people just did things selfishly not for money or power but for the earth for a greater cause like their country or other people would be a lot better off just like a cheesy movie line great leaders do not want power but have it thrust upon them. If we did this think of how much better of we would be if people had a good reason, cause and thought before they did things that might affect others.
think about it how many stepping stones do politicians use to get in to the seat or place of power some stepping stones are rewarded by people of reason, cause and thought others are just soiled then let down by people looking for money, power and title.
There are some stones not used for rising but making something look good or better than something else or someone else.
think back in history greed and power are the foundations of many a historic tale one example would be the roman empire and how many emperors they went through around 186AD I am not saying that politics is corrupt only that there are too many people out there only for themselves and not others.
There is good in the world but sometimes it is unable to take effect because it gets blocked by something bad. One example of this that is currently happening is those adds in Canada (I am a Canadian this blog post is Canadian about local TV one side says one thing and one side says another this is a stepping stone to power!

the folwing is anothor example it may or may not be true frankley it is there because it talks about the sort of thing i am talking about.

i am comfused but any way here it is.

My one wish is that people would have a good reason, cause and thought when they did something important.

the last of the outsiders

•December 6, 2009 • 3 Comments

Yes this should be the last time I am going to do anything with the outsiders for at least a year.

in the last chapters Ponyboy loses Johnny and Dally in the same 24 hours and the book gets a lot more meaning-full because the author starts slowing down and having her characters look at there lives again which I think make for a boring read but it also gives the book depth and makes it worthy of all its good reviews out there, in just about every paragraph there was a important value or meaning like when Johnny leaves Ponyboy a message in  gone with the quote “pony boy I asked the nurse to give you this book so you could finish it. The doctor came in a while ago but I knew anyway listen, I don’t mind dyeing now. It’s worth it. It’s worth saving those kids. They have more to live for. Some of their parents came by to thank mean and I know it was worth it. Tell dally that it’s worth it I’m just going to miss you guys. I’ve been thinking about it, and that poem, that guy that wrote it, he meant you’re gold when you’re a kid, like green. When you’re a kid everything’s new, dawn. It’s just when you get used to everything that it’s day. Like the way you dig sunsets, pony. That’s gold. Keep it that way; it’s a good way to be. I want you to tell dally to look at one. He’ll probably think you’re crazy, but ask for me. I don’t think he’s ever really seen a sunset. And don’t be so bugged over being a greaser. You still have lots of time to make yourself be wanted you want. There’s still lots of good in the world. Tell dally. I don’t think he knows. Your buddy Johnny. I think this is the deepest two pages in the book.

A few weeks ago some police men came to our school and talked about the dogs that they use and what there used for.

They do not just track down drugs and guys who are on the run, they can be trained to track any smell in theory !

chapters 5-8 the greasers

•November 27, 2009 • Leave a Comment

in this part of the book it gets better tan it was in the last 5 chapter because Jonney gets hurt rescuing those kids which was very brave heroic and it took gut and selflessness something I was surprised to see in them and the things in this book get better and better I mean another soc with a care for others I was so surprised this book just gets better and better. I like the part where dally gets mad because up until then I did not have much measure of his character or anyone else in think this book will get even better.

socs greasears and a whole lot of trouble my review/response journal

•November 22, 2009 • 3 Comments

A few weeks ago [more like 2] I was given a book by my teacher and asked to read it. now I am a good reader last year about the best in the class, one time the TV was on the frits and I read half 700 -1000 pager in about 1 day at warp speed in grade 5-6 . the result of those days made me cry in the end… oops off topic well when I read the outsiders [it could be that I am just spoiled with great books] but I was slowed down to less the rate of a snail because the better a book is the faster it goes and I found myself not understanding some of the words because of the old English so instead of going fast I went slow.

I can see why it is a good book to it has knifes being drawn people getting killed bad stuff and a lot of conflict renegading and a lot of other stuff.

What’s the plot

•November 6, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Authors of books, scrips you name it they all have a plot unless it is a chick flick. Which has a borefest instead.

Authors often have a conflict in there peace, some times it is man vs. man another time it could be completely different like man vs. nature or man vs. himself and it could be man vs. society. some times the plot can be classed under more then one of them like man vs. society and man vs. man could go together if  there was a battle or a struggle my point is that there is an endless number of plots an author could put on his blank page and because of that there are many peaces of work out there that would not be there unless there was man vs. man or man vs. ect or whatever vs. whatever.

Two examples of man vs man are Eragon and Battles BC
